While technology and artificial intelligence continue to play a significant role in all our lives and reshape industries, we believe the true engine of innovation, creativity, and progress will always be human intelligence. Our mission is not only to build intelligent systems, products, and services, but also to ensure that technology amplifies human ingenuity rather than replaces it.
This belief extends far beyond our Mi Intelligence platform. It shapes the way we design our products, how we measure success as a company, and how we engage with the communities around us — and the next generations of dreamers, thinkers, creators, and builders. We believe that responsible innovation means investing in people, supporting meaningful work, empowering creators, and ensuring that the benefits of AI and automation are shared more broadly across society.
Through Mi Pledge, we outline our commitment to Human Sustainability: a principle centred on the belief that when people lead and AI empowers, there is no limit to what is achievable.
Why CSR matters to us
Most companies treat social responsibility as a compliance exercise. For Mi Intelligence, it is foundational.
We exist because the rise of AI creates genuine risks to the livelihoods, rights, and recognition of human creators and professionals. If we profit from championing that cause, we have a responsibility to reinvest in it.
Our CSR commitment is not a percentage of the marketing budget. It is a proportion of company profits — real money, tied to our commercial success, directed at organisations doing the hard work of protecting human creativity at a systemic level.
What our support will fund
Through our partnership with aligned organisations, Mi Intelligence's CSR contributions will help fund:
Artist and creator rights advocacy
Through Mi Certification and Mi Partners, enabling multi-vertical influence and voice for consent-based AI training data and stronger copyright and intellectual property protections for human-made work.
Worker transition support
Through Mi Career and Mi Consultancy, retraining and reskilling for professionals whose industries are being disrupted by automation.
Policy and research
Through Mi Advocacy and independent analysis of AI's economic and cultural impact, to inform fair regulation.
Community and education
Through Mi Peers and other learning programmes that help the next generation of human creators understand and navigate an AI-saturated world.
Public awareness
Through Mi Humandex and other campaigns that help consumers understand the difference between human-made and AI-generated work, and why it matters.
Beyond donations
Our CSR commitment extends beyond financial giving. Responsibility is built into the way Mi Intelligence operates:
Transparency
We publish clear information about how our certification process works and what it means. No hidden criteria. No pay-to-win.
Fair access
Our free membership tier ensures that human creators at all income levels can participate in Mi Intelligence — not just those who can afford certification.
No AI washing
We do not allow AI-generated content to be passed off as human-made on our platform. Our verification standards are rigorous and independently audited.
Environmental responsibility
We commit to operating our platform on renewable-powered infrastructure and to measuring and offsetting our carbon footprint annually.
Inclusive design
Our platform is built to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards. Human creativity belongs to everyone.
Annual reporting
We believe accountability requires transparency. From the point Mi Intelligence reaches profitability, we will publish an annual CSR report disclosing:
- Total net profit for the year
- Amount donated to CSR partners
- Names of all organisations supported
- Summary of outcomes and impact reported by those organisations
- Any changes to our CSR partners or commitment level, with reasons
This report will be publicly available on this page, free of charge, forever.
